Hi!  Welcome to the FryHouse Piano Studio Website!  My name is Jackie Fry & I am excited to introduce myself to you.  I hope as you take a look at these pages, I can answer some questions you may have as you explore the possibility of taking piano lessons.  First, let's start with a little bit about me & my philosophy concerning music education.    

I believe that the Arts are great tools for helping people process life around them.  Music absolutely facilitates growth through practicing, ordering, decoding, small/large motor skills, self discipline, left/right sides of brain, eye/hand coordination & the ability to recognize beauty.  These practices coupled with one on one attention can truly build self-esteem & help kids in their school endeavors.  The Arts are good for everybody!

My goal as a Music Educator is not to get rich (although I do need to pay a few bills!).  My goal is to instill a love for Music in the children & adults I get to work with & to help them develop the musical side of their personality.  It is unfortunate that we don't always know how to unlock that part of ourselves.  I also pray that I can assist budding musicians (young & old) so that when they do have the opportunity to share their musical skill with others they can feel confident & proud of their endeavors.
